1 Bathroom Buttermilk Barn is all on one level and open plan, studio style, with each area creatively designed to provide a great place to relax and enjoy some time in rural Suffolk. In some circumstances it may be possible to bring your dog. Please do call us if this may be of interest for you.
Sitting area: A light oak wood floor throughout with sofa, easy chairs, coffee table, smart TV and views over the country garden through a large picture window
Dining area: A round pine table with three dining chairs
Kitchen area : A range of fitted units, electric induction hob, combination microwave oven, under counter fridge with freezer compartment, kettle and toaster. There is a 'service door' to a courtyard area for emergency exit use only.
Half wall and beams screen the sleeping area from living area
Bedroom with en-suite shower room: Kingsize bed, bedside tables with lamps, wall hooks and hangers, under-bed storage drawers
En-Suite: A large room with extra large, glass shower enclosure, pan head shower, toilet, wash basin on wooden console table with mirror above and shaving socket.

August 2025We spent a couple of days at buttermilk and it was amazing. Very quiet, very peaceful, which was just what we needed. As for the hosts, they couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly

August 2025We booked this looking for a last minute relaxing weekend away and we couldn't have picked a better location. Alison and Carl are the perfect hosts, friendly and welcoming and have thought of literally everything needed for a perfect stay. The location is excellent for visits to the Suffolk coast and with great local walks and pubs. We can't recommend the barn enough and will certainly be returning.

August 2025Buttermilk Barn was amazing, peaceful, restful and absolutely immaculate, so comfortable and cosy. Great hosts were there when you needed them very friendly and helpful. The quiet surroundings with a lovely outside space overlooking a lovely garden. great for a morning cuppa or evening glass of wine. The best cottage we have stayed in and can' wait to return.

April 2025Buttermilk Barn is a well designed open space, set in beautiful surroundings. The garden views from the barn are so peaceful and tranquil. The accommodation is well equipped, modern and stylish. Hosts are very friendly, accommodating and left us some treats upon arrival. Would definitely recommend. Thanks
