This spacious and well appointed family home, has the luxury of four bedrooms all with generous ensuite shower or bathrooms. For warm, summer evenings, enjoy the large, walled courtyard garden, perfect for alfresco dining.

The space

Kitchen and Dining area: fully fitted and well equipped with a modern range style cooker, microwave, larder fridge/ freezer, cafetiere, additional half height fridge and dishwasher. A large dining table and chairs positioned in the east facing bay window

Utility Room: Both a washer/dryer and separate tumble dryer.

Sitting Room: with large corner Chesterfield sofa, classic fireplace with an open gas flame fire, bookcase, flat screen smart TV and Kawai piano ( the piano is available only to musicians by prior arrangement with the owner) A bright room with French doors onto a large, private garden

Cloak Room: with a wc, pedestal wash basin and mirror

Super King Bedroom: A bright, spacious room with a super-king size bed, bedside tables with lamps, large built-in wardrobes, dressing table and chair and panoramic views from the bay windows out to sea.

Double Bedroom: with Kingsize bed, bedside tables, lamps, chest of drawers, built in wardrobes and arm chair

SECOND FLOOR
Twin Bedroom: with two single beds, built in wardrobes, bedside cabinet with lamps and desk. Views up the coast towards Thorpeness.

The neighbourhood

A quiet residential area, a few metres from the beach at Aldeburgh, and the wonderful walk along the coast either to the high street, or along the coastal path to the unique village of Thorpeness.

Paws Clause - Conditions of Hire - when bringing a pet...

We understand how important it is for guests to be able to bring their pet with them on holiday. Pets are welcome at Cherry Tree House as detailed on our website, at no extra cost. Pet owners are required to provide full details of the pet(s) who will be staying, and to follow the requirements as detailed below. There may be additional details in the Guest Information Folder at the property. Failure to follow these requirements may be considered a breach of our Conditions of Hire and the owner will be entitled to ask you to leave. Please do not hesitate to call us if you need any further clarification, or have any specific requests.

Please ensure that your pet is housetrained, clean and dry and above 9 months of age, free of fleas and worms and regularly treated (at least 4 weeks prior to stay), fully immunised, not allowed on furniture or upstairs, does not cause a disturbance to neighbours and is kept under close supervision at all times and not left unsupervised at any point in the property or in the garden.
Please feel free to bring your pets beds, bedding, towels and bowls to make it feel 'at home'. Finally, please ensure that any evidence of dogs having ‘been’ in the garden is removed and disposed of regularly and responsibly.

If extra housekeeping is incurred, for reasons such as excessive dirt, hair or any ‘deposits' left in the garden as a result of a pet staying at a property, charges will be requested from the Housekeeping Security Deposit.

Great location with the beach less than 5 minutes walk and the centre of Aldeburgh only 10 minutes walk. The cottage was large and suited the family get together, with plenty of space and bathrooms. Nice outside courtyard to sit, drink and eat.

A fantastic property in a great location. My 4 grown up children, 2 dogs and I had a wonderful 4 nights stay together. With a 10 min walk into town the house was comfortable, uncluttered and very spacious. It was ideal for my well behaved dogs; very secure walled garden and large kitchen/dining area which was easy to restrict them in, away from the carpeted sitting room! Space for 2 cars at the back. Only 2 min walk to pebble beach and within the non restricted dog zone and footpath to Thorpness. Would love to come back again one day.

The house is in a very good location, within reach of everything we required in a few moments. House and amenities are very good, plus a lovely secluded garden. We all enjoyed our time and hope to be back in the near future!

Had a lovely 4 day stay with the older generations of our family, plus my sister & her dog. The house was perfect for our needs. Although the photos don’t really do it justice, it is lovely. Will certainly visit again. Thank you.
